Why are the LexSun Professional Blender jugs not made of glass?
A:
Glass is unsuitable for blending due to the high speed of the blades and the powerful motor. Additionally, if any utensil was dropped into the blender during processing, the glass container could easily shatter or worse - explode, and cause serious injury.
Q:
Is there any danger in using the LexSun Professional Blender poly carbonate jugs / containers?
A:
Not at all. Poly carbonate is 100% food safe and certified and tested by NSF and other government agencies around the world. Poly carbonate is absolutely safe up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit, which level of heat you would never reach while blending.
Most BPA concerns refer to heating food in poly carbonate container in a microwave or storing food in poly carbonate containers, which does not relate to the LexSun Professional Blender at all.
The BPA controversy began some years ago when two independent scientists microwaved baby formula in a poly carbonate baby bottle on high for 30 minutes. Naturally the bottle melted and when tested, a small amount of BPA was 'discovered' in the formula. These extreme conditions are obviously not normal household conditions and the above test was not authorized nor recognized by the United States Government or the American Plastics Association.
Q:
What quantity of vegetables should I put in the jug when I start blending?
A:
For the best performance possible, start blending by adding a smaller amount of hard vegetables in the jug to start, then adding more as required. In fact it is actually quicker this way and the machine will last much longer!
Conversely, the best way to destroy any blender is to load the blender jug half way or higher, then start it; which is very hard on any blender and dramatically shortens its' life.

Can I blend my mobile phone with the LexSun Professional Blender?
A:
Although the LexSun Professional Blender can quickly blend mobile phones [e.g. on YouTube], for obvious reasons it is not recommended and it voids the warranty.

Almost indestructible: Both the 1.5 litre and 2.0 litre poly carbonate jugs are almost unbreakable. One staff member who weighs 105 kilograms, stood on the 2.0 litre jug and proceeded to bounce on it, without causing any damage whatsoever! In the factory, staff were repeatedly throwing them at the walls and floor without any damage at all.

Due to the large size of the 2.0 litre Jug, a Tamper / Food Accelerator Tool is provided to insure that all food is blended quickly and efficiently.
Due to the smaller size of the 1.5 litre jug, it simply does not require a Tamper / Food Accelerator Tool.
The special design of the stainless steel Cutter Blades enables both wet and dry blending.
What is unique about the LexSun Professional Blender is that the Cutter Blades now have six blades instead of the traditional two or four blade types. As a result, blending is now more even, much faster and efficient. (Yes, the six blade cutters are incorporated in both the 1.5 litre and 2.0 litre jugs).
The Cutting Blades are the same on both jugs and are interchangeable.
