Great care must be exercised when operating the Seed Oil Extractor!
Note that putting in too much linseed too quickly, or using old linseed, can result in seizure or damage to the Seed Oil extractor or Juicer.
This unit has been designed to extract oil primarily from sesame seeds for making a high quality tahini, slowly; although other oils can also be extracted such as from flax seeds. Use caution when deviating from sesame seed!
Any loud squealing noise is an indicator that the unit could seize. Thus, STOP immediately, clean and start again. Failure to do this could cause damage.
After the extraction process the oil and paste will be separated. Remix the dry paste and oil together (approximately 20% more oil has to be added for correct consistency, but can vary; it can be a mixture of almond oil and honey, or other), blend with a wooden spoon to suit correct consistency.
Never put ground paste back into the hopper with other sesame seeds, it will result in blockage.
The linseed oil extraction works very well - a 200 gram pack provides about 100 ml of oil.
Always complete a cycle, never stop and change ingredients.
Put through only one type of seed and then thoroughly clean before starting again.
Ensure that the unit is rinsed under hot water and cleaned out internally with the brush supplied; also, brush the oil slots on the external side, from the bottom.
The hopper can also be used to add linseed. Note that putting in too much linseed too quickly, or using old linseed, can result in seizure and as such may damage the Oil Extractor or Juicer; thus it is imperative to feed the Oil Extractor slowly.
Important, do not mix seeds, as it may result in blockage.
Clean immediately after use, as once it has been left standing it will become more difficult to clean.
If the unit is used as described, it will give you trouble-free extracting of oil.

If the stainless steel Oil Extractor Screw will not easily pull out, gently but firmly use a suitable pair of pliers to pull the shaft out for cleaning,
Alternatively you can carefully secure the hexagonal drive part of the shaft in a vice (be sure not to burr the shaft), and the shaft will easily pull out for cleaning.
There is no warranty with the LexSun Seed Oil Extractor for the following reasons:
A number of customers used the Oil Extractor for commercial purposes, which wears out the Oil Extractor/s prematurely, and expected free replacements every year, which is ridiculous and totally unethical!
Further, some customers have not followed the instructions and have been too rough, or not kept the extractor meticulously clean, or worse - tampered with the machine to suit commercial applications, resulting in minor to major damage of their LexSun Oil Extractor and accordingly voided the warranty.
Due to too many customers using their Oil Extractor/s for commercial enterprises and / or misuse by some impatient and inexperienced customers, we now only supply the LexSun Oil Extractor on an 'as is' basis, with no warranty whatsoever.
JUICERS AUSTRALIA supplies this item as a service to customers who genuinely require a high grade oil for their dietary needs etc.
The LexSun Oil Extractor must be kept meticulously clean and patience must be exercised during operation of this high precision machine, as it extracts a high quality cold pressed oil.
The LexSun Oil Extractor is excellent for experienced / handy people to use for extracting a high quality oil.
Tip: The Seed Oil Extractor actually preforms best when smaller amounts are put into the hopper at a time.
For example if you feed a tablespoon of flax seed into the hopper at a time, then wait until it has been processed, then add another tablespoon etc, the machine will:
work at an optimal rate,
extracts oil faster and easier,
and the machine will last much longer.
