A former competitor of Greenpower asked the manufacturer to modify the Greenpower Kempo JuicerKP-E1302 with a slight 'cosmetic change' (i.e. inclusion of a hard to clean stainless steel locking knob placed in the handle), so that the juicer could be re-branded differently, to make a clone of the Greenpower Kempo juicer for marketing purposes.
Thus the ‘Kempo Juicer E1303’ clone was born and is now marketed by competitors as the 'Hippocrates Juicer GPT-E1303', to compete against the original Greenpower Kempo Juicer range.

Speed Centrifugal Juicers ~ 1,000 rpm to 30,000 rpm:
Most juicers available through retail outlets (e.g. Panasonic, Breville, Black & Decker, Waring Health, Acme, Omega 4000, Jack LaLanne etc) are 'high speed centrifugal
juicers', with speeds ranging between 1,000 rpm through to 30,000
rpm. Their main purpose is to produce juice as fast as possible, by cutting / shredding
your produce at extremely high speeds. The result is generally an oxygenated
juice that is heated at a molecular level, subsequently shortening the
life of the juice to varying degrees. Most high speed juicers require
regular pulp removal and cleaning, which can be annoying.
High
speed centrifugal juicers are not true juice extractors, as the resultant
juice also contains finely cut / shredded produce 'blended' into it, often giving
the illusion of a higher juice extraction rate. Thus many 'high speed centrifugal
juicers' are in reality a cross between a 'juice extractor / blender.' Although they cannot extract
a 'living juice', they certainly can produce a "fast food" juice. High speed centrifugal juicers tend to
suit busy people or 'beginners' who are happy with a basic quality blended juice.
Cold
Press Masticating Juicers ~ Up to 200 rpm:
We chew our food at about 30 to 60 chews per minute via a cold press masticating
process, thus insuring maximum nutrient availability. If our mouths were
to imitate high speed centrifugal juicers, we would be chewing at an incredible
1,000 to 30,000 bites per minute... That is rather unnatural.
Some discerning customers insist on using only 'Cold Press Juicers'
with speeds ranging from 70 to 200 rpm. Cold press juicers are purpose built machines
that extract a high quality 'living juice' for maximum well-being.
Cold
press juicers are genuine juice extractors that literally extract juice
from your produce via a slow speed pressing action, e.g. 'cold press' masticating process.
Because the nutrients are preserved, the juice tastes stronger (much
better) and has a much longer shelf-life (especially when refrigerated). These
juicers are especially appealing to
health enthusiasts, sports people, convalescing patients and the elderly, as recommended by Dr Sandra Cabot.
Cold Press Juicers are more Nutritious - October 2007
Independent tests have concluded that:
Non-centrifugal cold press juicers produce juice that lasts longer and contains more nutrients,
Non-centrifugal cold press juicersextract more nutrients - in some cases double or even three times more than centrifugal juicers! (e.g. double the calcium etc,)
Juice from non-centrifugal juicers still looked and smelt palatable after 48 hours,
Juice from non-centrifugal cold-press-style machines is more nutritious and stays fresh and tasty for up to 48 hours,
Non-centrifugal cold press juicers are easier to clean, do not have large bulky parts and are a great choice for juicing.

Single Gear vs Twin Gears
Single gear juicershave an auger (i.e. single gear) in the juicing chamber, which extracts a high quality 'living juice' in three stages:
The auger takes a 'bite' of the fruit or vegetable with each revolution;
it then crushes (cold press) the produce at a very low speed, thereby preserving the maximum amount of nutrients;
and extracts an ultra high quality 'living juice.'
In summary, single gear juicers:
Are economical and parts are inexpensive to replace;
are excellent for both beginners and experienced 'cold press juicing' advocates;
extract the same quality juice as their 'twin gear' counterparts;

Although
eating fruits and vegetables in their natural state does provide a substantial
amount of vitamins and minerals, much of their goodness is locked in the
fibre which is expelled from your body. However,
you can obtain additional benefits from them when they are juiced, especially
with a quality: low r.p.m. - cold press type - non-centrifugal
juicer.
When
you juice fruits, vegetables and etc., their goodness is released from
the fibre and you are able to drink their highly concentrated nutrients,
which are then able to enter your bloodstream very quickly and efficiently.
For
Maximum Benefit:
It
is recommended that you swirl the juice around in your mouth a little,
thereby mixing your living juice with your salvia, which aids in a more
complete digestion. This is especially applicable to carrots, as in their
normal state carrots require considerable chewing. Drinking fresh juice before a meal often reduces hunger at meal time.

Greenpower Jang Twin Gear Technology
At
the heart of the Greenpower juicers is the Jang type twin gears. These precision
designed and engineered twin gears incorporate magnetic and bio-ceramic
technology with pocket recesses and a specialized cutting mechanism
to separate a living juice from the pulp.
At
the core of each of the twin gears is a series of magnets. The magnets
are alternated between positive and negative. When the two gears are
placed side by side, the positive and negative magnets are also alternated
between the gears, which generate a positive charge, or attraction.
At the molecular level, this means the magnets are creating positive
ions as the gears spin. Surrounding the inner core of magnets is a second
level containing bio-ceramic particles and an outer layer of stainless
steel.
Bio ceramic particles, produced by infra red technology, also
emit positive ions. Magnets in the gears work in conjunction with these
bio ceramic particles. Magnets recharge the bio ceramic material and
the bio ceramic material recharges the magnets. Without this recharging,
the effect of the both the magnets and the
bio ceramic material would be diminished.
As
the gears are spinning, the magnets and the bio-ceramic material are
each producing more positive ions than can be held in charge by either
the magnets or bio ceramic material, therefore many of these positive
ions add more vitality and longevity to the life of the minerals, which
reduces oxidation and keeps the juice fresher, longer. (By Michael

juicing;

stainless steel in your juice);
Small
diameter gears turning at 160 rpm have a surface speed similar to
larger gears turning at 80 rpm.
Gear speeds of less than 200 RPM are classified as ultra low speed.
WARNING: When positioning the Twin Gears, be sure to align the dots correctly. (The left gear has two dots, with a space between them. The right gear has one dot that fits between the dots on the left gear.)
Permanent
Magnets versus Electro Magnets
The
Electro Magnetic fields generated by electrical appliances is
very different from the magnetic fields occurring in Permanent
Magnets.
For
example, the magnetic fields generated by a Permanent Magnet are
similar to the magnetic fields generated from the centre of the
earth, which is necessary for all living things on earth. The
magnet of the Kempo juicer is also a Permanent Magnet which is
wrapped inside the stainless steel gears and is not connected
to any electrical wires; thus the minute magnetic field generated
by the gears is beneficial to help keep the juice fresh.
According
to Dr Arthur C Guyton (who discovered Trapped Blood Plasma Protein),
he believes that TBPP is a cause of many diseases. He found that
by moving the TBPP it would help alleviate the pain and or diseases
caused by TBPP.

Juicing Tips
Never
put the pulp back into the juicer, it will damage the screen and makes
void the warranty!
Cold
press juicers are excellent for juicing vegetables or a combination
of vegetable and fruit.
When
juicing a lot of soft fruit such as pineapple or watermelon, simply feed slower. Adding some
carrot, beetroot or celery also helps prevent clogging.
When
juicing apples, Granny Smith apples (or
similar) are best, as they are a hard fruit and contain more juice. Red apples are not suitable for cold press juicers.
Juice backing up the chute? In 99.9% of the cases where the juice backs up the chute and the juicer is not operating as good as it once was, it is because the tiny holes on the juicing screen have become progressively clogged after repeated use, and normal washing is not always sufficient to remove the dirt.
Solution: Soak the part/s in a dessertspoon of Ezy Kleen powder and warm / hot water overnight; rinse in water the following morning and the juicer will operate like new. Ezy Kleen can be purchased here.
Note: We have found that when using the Fruit Screen to juice
soft fruit such as pineapple, it is best to leave the Fruit Adjusting
Knob either off the machine, or fully undone. This prevents /
reduces any possibility of clogging. Pineapple is the hardest to
juice with cold press juicers due to the natural surfactant in
pineapple juice. If clogging occurs whilst juicing pineapple, put
a carrot through to clear the juicing screen holes, then continue
juicing the pineapple.
Likewise,
when using the Vegetable Screen to juice hard vegetables
such as carrots, we find that it is best to leave the Vegetable
Adjusting Knob screwed right in. This provides the maximum amount
of juice and a very dry pulp.

Most juicers available through retail outlets (e.g. Panasonic, Breville, Black & Decker, Waring Health, Acme, Omega 4000, Jack LaLanne etc) are 'high speed centrifugal
juicers', with speeds ranging between 1,000 rpm through to 30,000
rpm. Their main purpose is to produce juice as fast as possible, by cutting / shredding
your produce at extremely high speeds. The result is generally an oxygenated
juice that is heated at a molecular level, subsequently shortening the
life of the juice to varying degrees. Most high speed juicers require
regular pulp removal and cleaning, which can be annoying.
